Research Consulting: Physics

Optics in the field of physics is my specialty, and I can apply my theoretical, computational, and experimental skills to any optics needs you have or any other technical field.
Please contact me with any research ideas you would like to develop. Let’s talk first, then send me a proposal and NDA, and we can get started on developing the idea and generating a white paper, or just finding a solution to a project you have been working on. I can either generate a nice write up PDF with a table of contents and the like, or I can give you a quick write up with the solution to your problem.
Below are examples of the nice write up and the quick write up.

Optics Research Study of the Light Matter Interaction

While I was pursuing my master’s in physics I had the opportunity to work on many theoretical and experimental projects. I would enjoy the opportunity to apply my problem solving skills to any research project you might have.
I have had the privilege of working in Dr. Chen’s Quantum Optics research lab at SFSU (http://www.physics.sfsu.edu/~laser/people.html). While working there I explored Soliton-mediated orientational ordering of gold nanorods and birefringence in plasmonic suspensions, due to plasmonic resonant solitons in metallic nanosuspensions, and optical trapping (optical tweezers).
I have recently published two papers in Optics Letters. The titles are “Soliton-mediated orientational ordering of gold nanorods and birefringence in plasmonic suspensions,” and “Guiding and nonlinear coupling of light in plasmonic nanosuspensions.” I have presented on this work twice at the CLEO optics convention in San Jose CA.

Research: Theoretical

Check out my thesis for examples of the types of theoretical problems I can solve, I will be adding much more information very soon!

Research: Experimental

Check out my thesis for examples of the types of experimental problems I can solve, I will be adding much more information very soon!

Data Acquisition, Analysis

Examples of the data acquisition and analysis methods I can use coming very soon! I can use multiple tools to digitally gather data, a comprehensive list is on it’s way. My favorite data analysis programs are (not in order), Mathematica, Matlab, Python, C, and even Excel.
